There are two kinds of costs, and honest companies keep them separate: what you pay the government and the testing companies (you owe those whether you hire anyone or not), and what you pay us (only if you want the work handled for you).
Part 1 — costs you have either way (we add nothing to these)
- UCR registration: $46 a year if you run up to two vehicles. Paid to the state, at cost.
- MCS-150 update: $0. It is free to file. Anyone charging a “processing fee” is marking up a free form.
CDL drivers also need, before driving:
- Drug & alcohol consortium enrollment: $155 for one driver — the testing consortium’s current published price, billed by them. They run the testing; we only handle the enrollment paperwork.
- Pre-employment drug test: $75, once per driver.
- Medical certificate (required for CDL drivers, and for any driver of a vehicle rated 10,001 lbs or more): the clinic sets the price, commonly around $100–150.
- ELD, if your operation is required to run one: hardware and subscription prices vary by provider.
Part 2 — what we charge (only if you hire us)
- Cargo van tier: $49 a month. CDL tier: $99 a month.
- First month free. No contract, cancel anytime. So year one is 11 paid months: $539 (van tier) or $1,089 (CDL tier).
- We never mark up a Part 1 cost, and you see the real number before anything is paid.
