Dispatch Services • To be presented to freight brokers with carrier setup packets
To whom it may concern:
This letter confirms that the motor carrier identified below (“Carrier”) has engaged Foragentis, of Sacramento, California (“Dispatch Service”), to provide truck dispatch services under a written Dispatch Service Agreement. Carrier authorizes Dispatch Service, acting solely as Carrier’s agent and under Carrier’s operating authority, to do the following on Carrier’s behalf:
- Communicate with brokers regarding available loads for Carrier’s equipment.
- Negotiate freight rates and load terms, subject to Carrier’s final approval.
- Complete and submit broker–carrier setup packets and provide Carrier’s documentation (operating authority, certificate of insurance, W-9, and related documents).
- Receive, review, and return rate confirmations for loads accepted by Carrier.
- Coordinate pickup, delivery, and load paperwork, and follow up on invoicing on Carrier’s behalf.
For clarity: Dispatch Service is not a broker, freight forwarder, or motor carrier, is not a party to any contract of carriage, and is not authorized to receive or collect freight payments. All freight charges must be paid directly to Carrier or to Carrier’s designated factoring company. This authorization may be revoked by Carrier at any time by written notice, and otherwise remains in effect for the duration of the Dispatch Service Agreement between the parties.
